A 70th Birthday Celebration at Marfield House, Wexford

“So, how many siblings are there in your family?”

“Let’s see, there’s nine of us.”

Nine!

You know what nine sisters and brothers means? It means that when you get together to have a birthday celebration, you’re in for an evening full of love, laughter, and a bit of craic.

I met Jeni & Ger last year when I photographed their wedding and I knew right away that they were my kind of people. And boy was I right - they are one of the kindest, most genuine, loving, thoughtful and fun couples I know. So it stands to reason that they come from pretty great families. Jeni invited me to document Ger’s aunt’s 70th birthday celebration at the stunningly beautiful Marfield House in Wexford. From the first sips of Prosecco (or Guinness) to the last bite of cake, it was an absolute joy to be a part of this evening.
