and for telling our story
the way it was meant to be told”

My Style
REPORTAGE / DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I am primarily a documentary photographer, which means that rather than telling people what to do all the time, I just join in, talking, joking, laughing, watching, and taking pictures along the way.
A few posed photos are important to have but it's the candid photos that people love more and more as the years go by.
it's mostly like hanging out with a friend... who has a camera... and takes lots of pictures... of everything (don’t worry, I only keep the best ones).
WITH TONES THAT ARE RICH, VIBRANT & TIMELESS
My signature style is true to life with bold, warm tones and soft, romantic black & white images. I use mainly natural light to capture your wedding day photos - regardless of the weather - bright sun, soft clouds, golden hour or misty rain, I let the light lead the way.
But if more light is needed —
for speeches or family pictures, and definitely on the dance floor, then my trusty flash will be there to help (but only once in a while).
FOR COUPLES IN IRELAND, EUROPE AND THE USA
Local Limerick & Clare weddings are always nice (and you can’t go wrong with a Cliffs of Moher elopement) but one of the best parts of my job is getting to travel to weddings all over Ireland - from the Connemara mountains to the Wicklow sea views, drinking in the beauty of Ireland is one of my favourite things in the world.
And speaking of the world
I’ve photographed weddings in Europe & America and I’m always up for an adventure destination wedding!
REAL MOMENTS OF WONDERFUL PEOPLE
I want you to look at my photos and be able to feel like you were right there.
-1-
What’s important to you is important to me.
I’m not a fade into the background kind of photographer. I’m a “ask loads of questions, talk a mile a minute, laugh a lot” kind of photographer. I’m not taking pictures of you, I’m taking pictures with you. I want people to feel comfortable with me, and when that happens I get to know what’s important to document. And that’s the way I make timeless, honest, authentic images that matter more as the years go by.

Bride & Groom Portraits
Your portrait session is one of my favourite parts of your day, where you have a chance to relax, take a moment, breath, and enjoy each other as a married couple for the first time. We can simply go for a walk around your venue, sneak away to a romantic location, or a little of both. This is the easiest photo session you’ll ever have, gently guided to ease any awkwardness or nerves and nice and fast so you can get back to the reception.
Because the weather in Ireland is 100% unpredictable, and we all feel better after a bit of food and drink, I would love to steal you away for a few minutes when the light is right and the mood is mellow. This is when I get the most creative, beautiful and relaxed wedding portraits, photos that you’ll want to frame & share with the world or keep just for you.

Timeless group, portrait & family photos
There is a time and a place to get together as a group and smile at the camera. These are the photos your parents and grandparents and great grandparents have from their weddings. They’re important. And we will take as many as you want.
AND WE’LL DO IT IN RECORD TIME!
This is the only time in the whole wedding day where I will get loud & bossy, a bit ridiculous but very very effective. You give me the list of group shots you want, and I’ll do the rest.
It won’t be Vogue-magazine-style posed perfection, but it’ll be fast, a little crazy, and even a bit of fun (at least that’s what everyone tells me!)

Reportage
For most of your day, I’ll be capturing candid, natural photos of you and your guests – constantly on the move, chasing light and laughter. It won’t take long and you won’t even notice my camera, but I’ll be busy creating a beautiful set of images that will be full of emotions, humour, romance, and lots of love.

THERE ARE AS MANY TYPES OF WEDDINGS AS THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD
Small, Intimate Weddings
HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU NEED TO HAVE FOR A WEDDING?
As many as you want.
While I love photographing all kinds of weddings from massive traditional Irish weddings to tiny courthouse ceremonies, it’s the small weddings that have a special place in my heart. Gathering on the edge of the Cliffs of Moher for a micro wedding, or celebrating the weekend in a historic country house wedding venue or a fancy hotel, small weddings are relaxed and fun with loads of time to spend with the people who matter most.
Classic Weddings
A TIMELESS & TRADITIONAL CELEBRATION OF HERITAGE
There’s something so exciting about planning a traditional Irish wedding. It’s a full day of wonderful memories. Everyone might think they know what to expect, but modern couples always find a way to add in a few surprises along the way.
And I am here for it ALL from soothing morning nerves to joining you on the dance floor, and everything in between!
Elopements & Vow Renewals
YOUR DAY - YOUR WAY
They stood near the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran islands in the distance, their children playing in the grass behind me. I was too far away to hear what they said to each other, but as I made pictures of it, there was no doubt of the love and commitment they were promising. Two lives becoming one with only the sky and the sea as witnesses.
The Irish landscape makes the most beautiful setting for an elopement or a vow renewal, and no matter how small the event, it’s important to have pictures of it - to remind you of the promises you made that day and of the love that brought you there.
